I had gallbladder and hernia surgery at Baptist East last month. My voice has not been the same since. I was informed that a tube was inserted down my throat during surgery and may have damaged my vocal cords. I make part of my living narrating audiobooks. I am going to wait until after my colon surgery in January before I see an ENT about my voice. If it does not return to normal, you will be hearing from my lawyer.
